Kelly Civil Construction was engaged by S&R Engineering and Construction to deliver the structural concrete works associated with the construction of a water infrastructure tank in Nathalia. The project formed part of critical water infrastructure upgrades designed to provide long-term storage capacity and support the reliability of the surrounding network.
Working in close collaboration with S&R Engineering and Construction, who undertook the civil works and overall site management, Kelly Civil Construction was responsible for the delivery of all structural concrete components of the tank structure. This collaborative approach ensured efficient project sequencing, quality outcomes, and timely delivery of works.
Our scope included all formwork, reinforcement fixing, steel scheduling, and concrete placement required for the construction of the tank base and reinforced concrete walls. Particular attention was given to dimensional accuracy, reinforcement placement, and concrete quality to achieve the stringent tolerances and durability requirements associated with water-retaining structures.
The project required careful coordination between construction activities to ensure interfaces between the civil and structural works were delivered efficiently and in accordance with design requirements. Kelly Civil Construction worked closely with the project team to maintain programme milestones while upholding high standards of safety and quality throughout construction.
